The area of low pressure that has been bringing rainy conditions the past couple of days continues to move offshore tonight. The associated cold front has also moved through within the past couple of hours. For the rest of the night, expect gradual clearing conditions with increasing winds before daybreak. Sunshine will finally return for the day on Thursday. However, a strong pressure gradient between the departing low and the area of high pressure building in from the southwest will allow for windy conditions throughout the day. Winds gradually subside Thursday night. High pressure will dominate through the weekend, which will bring sunny and near normal temperatures for this time of the year.
