On Sunday, an upper level low pressure system and associated surface low pressure system moves northeast and hangs over the Great Lake Region while a surface low that had been looming off the coast of Long Island moves out over the ocean. This will allow for cloudy skies Sunday and a warming to near 70 degrees on Monday with a chance of showers/thunderstorms as Long Island will be out ahead of a weakening upper-level trough. Temperatures will cool down into the mid 60’s following a brief warm-up on Monday,
