A shortwave trough moving southward accompanied by a dry cold front will move through our area late Friday evening bringing much colder temperatures.  The NWS has issued a Freeze warning for our area for Friday night.  A weak shortwave ridge will slowly make its way to our area by Sunday.  A surface high around the Virginia, North Carolina area will keep our weather dry for the weekend.  A strong North-South flow will advect cold Canadian air to our area bringing freezing temperatures tonight.
