Synopsis:

A cold front slowly approaches from the north today and stalls just south of Long Island overnight. Enough moisture and instability is present for the front to bring scattered showers with it. The stalled bounrdary will provide for abundant mid to high level clouds for Friday. The boundary will then lift north as a warm front Friday night.
