A strong cold front will move through the region early this morning, with a slight chance of post-frontal showers as it moves through, but then conditions will dry out and become increasingly chillier over the next couple of days. Strong high pressure will build in and a northwesterly flow will advect much cooler air into the region. On Wednesday, high pressure moves offshore and the wind will be out of the southwest, so warmer weather will prevail.
