Synopsis:

An elongated upper-level ridge will be moving in over the next few days. It will allow for warm air to be advected toward Long Island and the east coast from the southwest. Temperatures will be in the upper 50s and lower 40s at Monday night. As we progress though the week, on Wednesday, an upper level trough will move in with an surface low directly North of it.
