An elongated area of low pressure will approach the area this weekend, guided up the coast by a shortwave trough diving down out of Canada. Our first accumulating snow of the season will thus occur. Warm air might make it into the region during the afternoon tomorrow so the snow could be mixed with rain at times. Drier conditions will prevail for Sunday.
