Synopsis:

Cold temperatures remain for tonight and tomorrow but we should see some moderation for the upcoming weekend. Surface high pressure is expected to build into the area and shift offshore during the day on Friday. We may have some stray snow showers with an associated coastal low, but the precipitation looks to remain offshore. As high pressure builds into the area on Saturday, skies are forecasted to remain quite clear and temperatures climbing to the upper 30s and eventually near normal by the beginning of the work week.
