Synopsis:
The extratropical cyclone that brought rain to the region is exiting the Northeastern United States today as the backside of the storm is dumping snow in northern Maine. An upper-level trough of low pressure is sitting over Tennessee Valley, which has provided an exit route for yesterday’s storm, will move eastward into the open Atlantic Ocean over the next couple of days. As the trough deepens, gusty winds will develop at the surface tomorrow and temperatures will be steady in the mid 40s over the next two days.
