The high pressure system located over Quebec that has been keeping our area dry this week will soon be pushed out to sea as an upper-level trough passes to the North of our area and moves East. The surface cyclone associated with this upper-level system will pass through on Friday, bringing light rain that will accumulate between a quarter and three tenths of an inch. Preceding the rain will be a warm front that will keep temperatures mild and in the low 70s on Friday, however, this will quickly be followed by a cold front that will drop temperatures back into the low to mid 60s for the weekend. Despite the cooler temperatures, Saturday and Sunday will be sunny and dry, perfect for any and all fall activities!
