I currently am using a Sony Alpha α6300 for my photography needs. I have a few lenses to use with it. For the following photos demonstrating the range of the camera’s sensor I am using a Sony E 18–200 mm Zoom Lens with a minimum aperture range of F3.5-6.3.
Exposure
These 3 shots were taken to demonstrate over and underexposure of the sensor. The first shot (1/60 f/3.5 23mm ISO-400) is a photo exposed to a 0 on the on-board light meter. The second shot (1/10 f/3.5 23mm ISO-400) is shot to +3 on the light meter. The third shot (1/200 f/3.5 23mm ISO-400) is shot to -3 on the light meter.
ISO
These 2 shots demonstrate the effects of ISO adjustment on the sensor. The first shot (1/10 f/3.5 23mm ISO-100) demonstrates a low sensitivity, low noise image. The second shot (1/2500 f/3.5 23mm ISO-25600) demonstrates a high sensitivity, high noise image.
White Balance
These shots (1/40 f/3.5 23mm ISO-400) all use different white balance settings on the camera to change the representations of color in an image.
Shutter Speed
The first shot (1/4000 f/3.5 18mm ISO-25600) demonstrates the freezing of motion at high shutter speeds. The second shot (25″ f/22 18mm ISO-100) demonstrates the blurring of motion at low shutter speeds.
Depth of Field
The first shot (1/80 f/5 43mm ISO-400) demonstrates the blurring outside of the focus range with a wide aperture. The second shot (1/80 f/32 43mm ISO-400) demonstrates the large focus range of a small aperture.
