Kerri started a new job in August right here at Stony Brook University. She’s the new Alcohol and Other Drug Outreach Specialist on campus and is responsible for conducting outreach initiatives on campus for students on issues surrounding alcohol and drug use.
She says the really cool part is that she gets to design interventions and then evaluate them. The research/evaluation part has her using a lot of what she learned in Dr. Pochron’s epidemiology courses.
