Psychology Major:

–Research and Writing in Psychology (PSY 310): gained an overview of the conceptual and practical aspects of conducting research in psychology; wrote and presented a research proposal according to the standards and styles expected of research psychologists.

–Child Psychology (PSY 339 and PSY 338): explored critical issues related to child psychology through aspects on developmental, social, neuroscience and clinical literatures; gained a deeper understanding of key issues related to clinical child psychology and child maltreatment.

 

 

Minor in Health and Wellness

I believe it is important for an individual to be both physically and psychologically well to be defined to be healthy. I chose the Health and Wellness Minor to explore and gain an understanding of the different dimensions of health and wellness. I cherish the opportunity I will be given in Spring semester to intern at one of the health care facilities.
