In the previous portraiture project, I enjoyed shooting the movements and expressions of my friends and presented the photographs exactly as their characters are. In this final assignment, after getting more familiar with my camera and conducting more explorations on portraiture. I decided to do an extension project on the portraiture project

The project contains two-part, first part is a set of portraitures of Cary, wearing her red costumes. In this part, I am focusing more on the image composition and capturing the movements of dancing. The second part are some basic shoots on different belly dance pose, with dancers showing up their body.

The models of this project are all stony brook belly dancers. Those lovely girls have danced together with me for three years.
