Hello, my name is Zach Migliozzi, and thank you for visiting my page!

As of August 2020, IĀ  began my journey at Stony Brook University as a new graduate student, pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship.

Congruently, I am continuing my professional career, working at NYU Langone Health System’s, medical center information technology department (MCIT). Here I am currently employed working in the field of clinical system engineering as an Epic Clinical Systems Analyst.

My academic and professional background thus far encompasses an interdisciplinary overlap of business operations, innovative technology and applied healthcare. On a daily basis, developing concepts for solutions that seamlessly integrate technology into the healthcare and bioscience setting. Seeking to meet the needs of the enterprise by addressing issues such as safety, affordability, security/privacy, performance, outcomes and efficiency to improve quality of care. I am seeking to narrow my research interests across such topics as Bioinformatics, Healthcare/Clinical/Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology and healthcare operations to ultimately determine

As a student with professional experience managing large healthcare and medical innovation based workflows/products, I am looking to continue grow and develop my understanding in the field. My goal, is ultimately being to refine and mold my skill set to one day become a contributing member of the next generation of bio entrepreneurs. Serving as a facilitating bridge to help guide innovationsĀ  from conception to realty, that could potentially change the way we look at the biomedical and healthcare fields.
