The designs here are basic drafts for the SBU Martial Arts Association. I wanted to go with an overall eastern theme without tying it into a single culture, so I went for a red color scheme (using Stony Brook’s exact red) as well as a darker blue to form a nice contrast. The gold acts as an accent color that also suggests success, happiness, etc. I wanted a circular and more personalized design vs sharp or minimal, as I wanted to frame the club as a friendly and relaxed environment, with a sense of community.
