I’ve always been a fan of pop glow art. I wanted a neon theme for this edit so I used neon blue and pink as my main colors. My goal was to get that glow the neon signs have on myself in the picture and the best background I found for the colors to pop was black. First I used the quick selection tool to extract myself from the picture, then I used the polygon shape tool to get the neon blue triangle and used masking to create an illusion where I am in the triangle. I also used to path tool to create shapes with blue fill on my bomber jacket collar and buttons. At last, I gave everything an outer glow. I used clipping masks to get the glow from the triangle onto myself.
