Research

2018: Gait and Motion Lab at VA NY Harbor

I spent a summer volunteering at my local VA hospital. I participated in a study investigating the effectiveness of a therapy designed to reduce the likelihood of limb amputation in diabetic veterans.

2019-2020: Digital Radiological Imaging Laboratory (DRIL) at Stony Brook

I worked in DRIL for three semester. The project was focused around a detector configuration called SHARP-AMPFI. I worked mainly in the wet lab, testing detector samples to characterize their response to light stimuli. I also worked with a model written in C++ describing the charge transport within the detector to understand the physical theory behind the detector.

2020-2021: Medical Image Research and Analysis (MIRA) Laboratory at Stony Brook

I am currently working in the MIRA laboratory on a project focused on integrating a free water imaging pipeline written in collaboration with SBU’s psychiatry department. I am using Python for this project.
