Perception Studies – Making Visible
Color Blindness: Achromatopsia
For my project on perception studies, I wanted to study complete color blindness, also known as achromatopsia or monochromacy. This is one of the rarer forms of color blindness, where those affected cannot see any color and only see the world in black, white, and shades of gray. For my series I wanted to illustrate this while avoiding the use of black and white filters, which I achieved for all but the last picture.
