Parking: If you are driving to the symposium we will provide you with validated parking. We ask that you park in the Hospital Visitors Parking Garage (see map). Enter Stony Brook University Hospital (101 Nicolls Rd, Stony Brook, NY 11794) into your GPS then follow signs to the Hospital Visitors Parking Garage. Take a ticket from the machine on your way into the garage. We will provide you with a validation sticker at registration. On exit simply give the ticket and sticker to the attendant for free parking. Once you are parked, follow signs to the hospital’s atrium. We will have someone stationed and signs posted at the entrance to guide you to the MART building.
Train: If you are arriving via train, please let our organizers know via email so we can help you arrange transport from the train to the MART building. Plan to get off the train (Port Jefferson Line LIRR) at the Stony Brook station. A train departing at 5:55am from Penn Station will arrive at Stony Brook at 7:46am. If you are on this train we can pick you up from the station. If you take a later train (7:34am departing Penn arriving 9:27am) you can walk from the station to the MART building (20 minute walk) or catch an Uber/cab.
