I chose Biomedical Engineering because it sounded like an interesting major to me. You are free to discover new medical technologies and methods to improve medical procedures. Also, this major gives you freedom and the option to work in many different fields. You can work in lab, industry, academia and etc. Some topics that interests me in BME are prosthetic and tissue engineering. These technologies are improving people’s lives and will continue to do so in the future.
