Spring Chamber Music Festival 2016

Tuesday May 3rd to Friday, May 13th


Faculty, students, guest artists and members of the Emerson String Quartet will perform chamber works for all genres, styles, periods and configurations. The week opens with the Calidore String Quartet and Emerson String Quartet, and concludes with an honors concert featuring the winner of the Ackerman Chamber Music Competition.

5:30 PM – VOLTA: West African Drumming Ensemble (Staller Steps; SAC Auditorium if raining)
8:00 PM – Contemporary Chamber Players (Recital Hall)

Friday, May 6
12:00 PM – Harpsichord Studio Concert with Arthur Haas (Recital Hall)
5:00 PM – Chamber Music Concert (Recital Hall)
