The mission of the Stony Brook Women’s Leadership Network and Project FORWARD is to offer Symposia, workshops, speakers, and networking to support the Stony Brook community; focusing on the retention, advancement and development of Stony Brook women faculty and staff. This project, initially funded through the President’s Mini-Grant for Departmental Diversity Initiatives works to establish a professional and social climate that enhances opportunities for learning, discovery and engagement among women colleagues.
