Verizon Wireless teamed up with Women Making America to sponsor an initiative to get more young women into Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
On it’s Inspire Her Mind website, Verizon notifies readers that the United States is behind the rest of the world in the mathematics and sciences fields. The United States ranks 36th in math and 28th in science.
