2024 NY AFS Chapter Meeting

2023 Submerge Marine Science Festival

On September 30th we attended the Hudson River Park Submerge Marine Science Festival at pier 84 in NYC. This family friendly event had hands on science displays and demonstrations for everyone.  We showcased the HRBMP and the importance of long term monitoring on fishery management. 2023 SCAS Meeting

NY AFS 2023 Chapter Meeting

Members of the Chen lab attended the NY AFS 2023 chapter meeting. Some of the students in the lab teamed up with members of the Frisk lab, also apart of SoMAS, to organize the meeting hosted on the Stony Brook Campus. Ph.D. student Anh Nguyen won the best poster award at AFS NY. Congrats to Anh!

On October 15th, 2022 we attended the Hudson River Park Submerge Marine Science Festival at pier 84 in NYC.
