I have always been fascinated by science as a child and as I grew older I was given the chance to pursue my interests. Given the current impacts of health on the aging populace and the incredible things that can be accomplished through the medical front, I majored in biomedical engineering to hopefully make a difference.

I am currently a senior in the five year BE/MS Biomedical Engineering program at Stonybrook University. My interests in the biotech field include biomechanics, bioinformatics and nanoparticle systems. I hope to pursue a career in the biotech industry that allows for creative design and manufacturing of medical devices.

When I’m not working on class assignments and studying for exams, I enjoy reading mystery novels and learning about new programming languages.
