This post was created by shooting Portraits of each individual followed by a series of nature shots on Nikon D3100. After uploading each portrait shot to photoshop I created a completely white background layer, then masked around each individual to get rid of the pictures original background. After that I imported the nature shot to be another layer on top of the portrait then applied the same mask on the portrait to the nature shot, lowered the opacity on the portrait shots then applied different filters to the nature layer to get the desired effect. From Left to right the filters are: Overlay, Soft Light, Hard Light, Screen, Pin Light, and Color Burn.
