The CEM research group welcomes two new graduate students to the group: Erica Bower and John Landy. Here is some background on our newest members:
- After growing up in central New Jersey, Erica earned her B.S. in Meteorology from Western Connecticut State University in May of 2019 and joined the CEM group in June of 2019.
She aspires to pursue a career centered around researching tropical cyclones and their extratropical transition in a warming climate. - John grew up in northeast Massachusetts and finished his undergrad in Environmental Science at SUNY ESF in Syracuse, NY. He is interested in extreme weather events and climate variability. John joined SBU’s CEM group in August 2019.
