The interactive white board is a very useful machine for group work. Diane took the opportunity to teach me how to help users with the interactive white board and how to turn it on. This was a great refresher.
The interactive white board is located in the North Reading Room Collaborative Learning Area (NRR CoLA). It is great for creating presentations, review for exams and midterms, or teaching in general. Many students do not utilize it as much nor know about it.
I learned that there is an order to turning on the interactive white board and that one must have it calibrated.
It was a slow day. Not many people were calling nor emailing however, Diane took the time to refresh my memory of some things and asked questions as to what to do in various situations.
