Hello there! I’m Christopher Palmeri and I’m a former Graduated Student in Stony Brook University’s Biomedical Engineering Master’s Program. I graduated in May of 2021 as part of SBU’s Accelerated 5-year Master’s Program.

Stony Brook BME’s unique collection of courses have provided a strong engineering background and allowed me to take elective courses to strengthen my knowledge of biology. I have a wide variety of experiences and skills that I have also garnered from my time in different research labs, all relating to cellular biology and the engineering of tissues and cellular processes. My current focus is on extending the areas of study of a unique Fibronectin (FN) fragment that was isolated by my PI for use in soft tissue injury treatment. More information can be found in the ‘Research‘ section.

Outside of school, I enjoy fishing, hiking, bird watching, reading, playing video games, and enjoying time with my friends and family.

To reach out, please see the ‘Contact Me‘ section or see the ‘Links’ section to the right.
