Why should you become involved in research as an undergraduate student?
Involvement in research at the undergraduate level offers a student the following:

•The opportunity to work one-on-one with a faculty member.
•Engaging in hands-on, discovery based learning and creation that goes beyond the classroom setting.
•The opportunity to gain valuable research experience that is required for participation in the Psychology Honors Program.
•Experience that will benefit you in your search for graduate schools and future employment.
