ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, 2020
This piece, created the night before a Black Lives Matter protest in NYC, is a collage of violent racism, police brutality, and other photographs taken during civil rights movements in America. Although the images appear in black and white, many of them are eerily similar to protest footage in 2020. Written over the collage in red oil paint are the words “ENOUGH is ENOUGH!”, symbolizing the continuous blood shed of Black Americans and the need for change in an inherently racist justice system.
