Assemblage 2020

There are so many things going on in the world right now. Climate change, unemployment, racism, skewed political agendas, Covid-19, and the list goes on. While there have always been problems that effect humanity, the severity of these issues have become much more serious and a lot more complex to solve. The problems of the world are weighing heavily on the human race. Many of these problems will be inherited by future generations if not resolved at this moment.

For my project, I have chosen to create an assemblage piece that focuses on a few of these issues. There are four sections to the assemblage piece. The first represents climate change, the second Covid-19, the third unemployment, and the fourth is division. I have limited the artwork to these four issues to create an overall theme of 2020 events.
