About Me

Hi! I’m Sahar Sabaghian, a first-year Ph.D. Biomedical Engineering student at Stony Brook University. I have completed my B.S. & M.S. degrees at IRAN University of Science and Technology( IUST) in Computer Software Engineering, with a specialization in artificial intelligence, medical image and signal processing.  I am currently working in Dr. Ulas Sunar’s lab to help to develop a way to detect depth-sensitive blood-flow changes in human brain assessed by optical devices. My goal is to develop new technologies and techniques in the medical field in order to develop a non-invasive treatment for TBI patients.
My research interests: Signal Processing,  Image Processing, Optical devices, and deep learning.
