May the Food Be With You
**This is the blog post you are looking for**
Do you not like finals? They’re hard and rough and they take too long. Not like midnight breakfast. At midnight breakfast everything is fun and relaxed.
On December 11th there will be a “may the food be with you” midnight breakfast at East Side Dining. As the last midnight breakfast of the semester, the circle is now complete. At the beginning we were but the learners, now we are the masters!
This Star Wars themed night is a free event hosted by FSA and Culinart. That means it won’t cost you an arm and a leg–sorry Anakin. Additionally, by swiping in students will be automatically entered into a raffle for prizes provided by Pepsi.
The midnight breakfast will consist of a Mustafar inspired buffet (meaning it’s a hot food– eggs, tater tots, bacon, and so on). Additionally, there will be a bagel bar, kosher breakfast station, and a halal breakfast station. To go with the food there will be hot chocolate, coffee, and tea there to satisfy any and all caffeine needs you have to make it through studying. If salty foods aren’t your go-to, there are plenty of sweet options as well. From french toast to ice cream to cake to fruit, you’re bound to find something.
Besides food, “may the food be with you” will host other activities. There will be photo-ops, a themed coloring table, a DJ, and other clubs and associations will have their own tables, including Outreach, Students for humanities, CAPS, and more.
Even if you can’t make it to midnight breakfast, good luck on your finals! And remember, “do or do not, there is no try.”
Food Bars
Throughout finals there will also be several late night food bars.

Strength Against Stress
From Tuesday, December 12 Sunday, December 17, our campus dietician, Amanda Reichardt helped organize a food bar called SAS, or Strength Against Stress (which we could all probably use for finals.) The foods featured are known to help with focus, concentration, and stress.
