I’m Stephanie Dobres, and you can call me Steph if you’d like. I’m a five-year accelerated BE/MS student at Stony Brook University, majoring in biomedical engineering. Hailing from Queens, NY, I have a bachelor’s of engineering in BME from SBU. I’m currently working on a master’s research project with Dr. Christine DeLorenzo in the Center for Understanding Biology using Imagine Technology (CUBIT) at SBU.

After I complete my graduate study, I aim to work in industry to design medical devices and treatments for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. My passions are biology, mathematics, music, and digital/traditional art. As a hobby, I enjoy hosting and participating in collaborations with other artists around the world to produce for-charity/profit magazines, merchandise, and artwork via social media.
