“Growing up first generation Chinese American, I’ve always experienced two different cultures. As I’ve been getting older, I’m deciding how much of my Chinese culture to embrace. It’s difficult and time consuming to learn Chinese and maintain relationships with my extended family, but I’m scared of what will happen if I don’t.”
