Conflicting Feelings Triptych, 2020, Lithograph, 25 x 64″

This triptych was inspired by traditional Chinese papercut art. I showcase my parent’s immigration from China, and how their conservative mindset has made it difficult for me to pursue art. Although this has caused some resentment, I’m overall very appreciative of how their journey has given me many opportunities.
