The Social Aging Lab at Stony Brook University is a dynamic and lively group that seeks to understand how social life enters the body and affects the brain. We are currently engaged in a huge array of research investigating mechanisms of key aspects of social life and how they influence cognitive decline and the onset of Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias. A large part of this work is focused on unique exposures in highly exposed populations.

Our lab participates in the Stony Brook Aging Interest Network.

We participate in the Integrative Analysis of Longitudinal Studies on Aging network.

Thank you for coming to see our work.
