The use and interpretation of elementary statistical techniques in research, emphasizing descriptive statistics, correlational analysis, and inferential statistics, including chi-square, t-tests, and an introduction to the Analysis of Variance.

Students will gain an understanding of the history and current use of drugs used to treat mental illnesses (antipsychotics, antidepressants, anxiolytics) and neurological disorders (epilepsies, Alzheimer’s Disease, etc.) as well as those drugs used recreationally.
