Research Interests

I am interested in understanding how the inter- and intra-specific life-history strategies of diadromous fishes are directed by variations in environmental condition, stock structure, and human perturbation. I use a variety of methods to test theories about community assemblage, biogeography, and life history invariants with a specific focus on integrating what is known and available regarding the life-history and ecology of diadromous fishes into practical stock assessment and management.

As a PhD student in the Frisk Lab at Stony Brook University’s School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences I have several ongoing projects and collaborations that span the breadth of these interests:

  • NY WEA
  • Hudson River
