Synopsis:

Along the axis of a shortwave 500 mb upper-level trough and northwesterly flow at the surface following cold frontal advection yesterday evening, temperatures will remain much cooler today and throughout the rest of this week.  Temperatures will remain slightly below-average for this time of year, as highs will struggle to approach forty degrees.  High pressure will dominate over the next several days, allowing for subsidence and clear weather.  Little or no precipitation is expected through the weekend.
