Hi everyone, thank you for visiting my site. Just wanted to discuss a bit about my motivation below:

Over the past few months, I have noticed a greater prevalence and usage of dictation software. I have primarily noticed this in healthcare settings while working in the ER as well as in a CF research center. In these settings, dictation software has become the norm if not just an easier alternative. By facilitating documentation of a chart or communication through a text message, I find it amazing that the development of speech recognition software has come so far to be readily used in a professional setting. (Fernandes et al. 2018, Derman et al. 2018)
