Search Page
This wire frame is for a website that is a database of books. ISBNdb is an actual website, but besides their name and search bar on the front page, the rest of their website doesn’t look great at all. The first page would be the start page, which I designed based on google’s home page, since I think the simplicity is something that every database or website meant to search should follow. No distractions on the eyes, other buttons are in the corners, just a single focus in the center of the page. The second page is a page about the details of a book, which is similar to a lot of other websites too, because I think that’s the best and most common format. Pictures taking the left side , quick information on the right, and extraneous information on the bottom. The mobile page is the same, except related books are at the bottom to preserve the look of the browser page. Finally is the search page, and I think the setup of having search criteria on the top, and the search results not sharing space with anything else looks the most clean. The most important information about the book is listed, and you can switch your search without having to move to a different page. The logo on the top also redirects you back to the home page from any screen.
