My name is Andrew Ferruzza and I am currently an AOI in Computer Science at Stony Brook Universtiy in my freshman year. Outside of school and working at a local supermarket, I primarily enjoy playing and writing music at my home in Bethpage, NY. I play the guitar, bass guitar, drums, and I make all of my music using a digital audio workstation (DAW) called Reaper. The music I play/create is almost always instrumental, building on a variety of genres of music, including jazz, classical, rock, and electronic music.
I also enjoy computer programming, and aim to use a Computer Science degree to combine my interest in music and computers and become a software developer for a company that hard codes Digital Audio Workstations. For example, working for Cockos, the company that owns Reaper, would be an ideal job for me. In the rising age of music being composed almost entirely digitally, I feel as this job could have much importance.
