  • Dr. Farhadzadeh’s proposal was selected for funding by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Sea Grant Program. The project will deal with bluff erosion with a particular focus on Long Island and Great Lakes bluff shorelines, September 2019.

  • CHERL’s undergraduate research assistants, Peter Davis, junior, and Ephraim Bryski, freshman, were selected to participate in the NSF’s 2019 Natural Hazards Engineering Infrastructures-Research Experience for Undergraduates (NHERI-REU) Summer Program.
    Peter will perform research activities at the University of California San Diego’s Large High-Performance Outdoor Shake Table. Ephraim will participate in research at the Oregon State University’s O.H. Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory. Congratulations to both of them!, March 2019.
