Google recently published a diversity report that may shock you, as Google’s company culture is marketed to be ahead of the times.  Interestingly, only 30% of Google’s employees are women.  African Americans and Hispanics only account for 1-2% of Google’s tech employees.

Outside of Google, only 12% of Computer Science degrees in the US are earned by women and only 20% of all software developers in the entire country are women.

To lessen this gap and create more opportunities for women and minorities, Google is offering a three-month voucher (http://tinyurl.com/oslsfhd) for Code School, an online school that teaches users web technology.

Interested women should sign up immediately! Although Google states there are “thousands” of vouchers, they will most likely go quickly!
