Trang Chu writes that millennial women are unlike their baby boom predecessors – they do not lack of confidence.  She argues that due to being consistently connected to technology, millennial are exposed to multi-culturalism and draw motivation from many avenues.

She goes on to examine three main differences between millennial and baby boomers:

1) They have more self confidence – Millennial grew up in a world where they were told they were great and can achieve anything.

2) They are willing to pave their own way – Millennial women have higher career expectations than ever before, but also want a work-life balance

3) They want feedback and development – Thanks to Facebook, Twitter etc. immediate and constant feedback is the norm.
