Why do young men migrate? There are several concrete answers to that question based on research and statistics.  In short, the reasons include lack of employment and education opportunities, high crime rates in their communities which place their lives at risk by gang activity, the strong desire of young men and women to reunite with family members who have already migrated and the pursuit of a better way of life.
