Lab Director Dr. Marci Lobel and members of the Stress And Reproduction (STAR) Lab investigate psychosocial aspects of reproductive health including pregnancy, infertility, and birth. They focus on stress, coping, and their impact on mental and physical health.

The STAR Lab is located in the Department of Psychology at Stony Brook University. In the STAR Lab, we conduct studies of women and men using a wide array of research methods. We especially value interdisciplinary research and have ongoing collaborations with clinical and research departments nationally and internationally.
